Chef Chiak's D24 Durian Shortcake
Chef Chiak is a pastry chef who has years of experience working in high-end patisseries and hotel in France. Chiak believes that a good pastry should focus its attention more on the taste and texture. That is why he opt for simple cake design which is simple yet elegant allowing customers to focus more on the taste.
This shortcake is made with a very rich durian custard cream sandwiched between 2 layers of soft fluffy Japanese sponge lightly soaked in rum.
It is then dressed in light high quality Fresh fresh cream and decorated with small touches of 24k Gold leaf.
