Mao Shan Wang (猫山王) - Superior Form

Our durians are selected from Old Trees ages more than 15 years old.

Durians from old trees are richer and more intense in taste. Bitter Sweet Strong intense smell. 

Taste and Texture of Mao Shan Wang  

Mao Shan Wang may come in various taste and texture profiles. In general, we classify them in 3 different categories:

1. Sweet and Dry. These MSWs have a sweet, fragrant and floral scent and the texture is usually dry and sticky.
2. Bittersweet and Creamy. Most MSWs will fall under this category.
3. Bitter and Moist. These MSWs have a more pronounced bitterness and pungent scent. But do note that texture wise, they tend to be wetter.

Nett weight: Per box contains approximately 750 +-10 gram (Durian flesh + seed) currently.

Flesh ratio: For this season, the average flesh weight to gross whole durian weight is 26-27%

Seed size: Mixture of large and flat seed.Prices shall be adjusted according to market prices.

Packaging: Dehusked. Heat-sealed.

Storage: Your durians may arrive chilled for food safety and quality assurance.

Market price adjustments: As durian prices are volatile, the actual price on the day of delivery may go up or down from the day you have placed the order. Hence, the actual quantity may be adjusted on the day of delivery to reflect the actual market price.
